It is generally best to have compost in all of your bins so that you only need to carry one bucket. You'll end up making more bank trips if you have your compost in the bank due to the fact you'll need 4 buckets of supercompost for your crops plus your crop payments, seeds, tools, etc.

    General Tips

    Supercompost is the only way to go. You can buy pineapples in the Grand Tree from the shopkeeper east of Blurberry's Bar. You can go to Brimhaven and just southwest of the city are 5 pineapple plants with 5 pineapples each. Fill up, go back to Ardougne, deposit and repeat.

    Crop payments are a necessity. You cannot possibly manage each of the crops. You will lose a flower crop once in a while, but, it is worth the risk. If you water twice and use super compost, its fewer than 5%.

    Generally I will plant the highest level crop that I have the payments for. When you are farming like this, you cannot take the risk of a dead crop in the middle. When you want to hover over a farm, you can avoid the crop payments.

    Also, never leave an allotment empty. Even if you don't intend to do anything with it for a few hours or days, make the crop payment so that next time you start, you harvest it. Its almost like getting a free crop. When you pass through an area and are going to be next to an allotment, rotate the crop, get the experience points and go about your business.
